Mentoring for Coaches
Individual Mentoring
I mentor coaches who are seeking ACC or PCC status (or renewal) and who are committed to developing their skills. I am passionate about helping coaches build mastery and extend impactful coaching into the world. You can sign up for my 10-hour package or contract with me for a minimum of 3 hours. Either way, you can mix and match mentoring elements that will support you and your growth.
I was trained as a Mentor Coach by Presence-Based Coaching in 2014 and am on faculty there as a mentor coach and facilitator. I also mentor students in the coach training program at the University of Wisconsin, where I am an instructor. I’d love to work with you!
Client Testimonials
Mentor Coaching can include:
Audio Reviews
This may be the richest form of personalized learning and growth. The most common process is this: We meet “live” on zoom and we listen together to your recorded coaching session. We pause at any time to discuss what’s happening in the session. You walk away with specific ways to improve your coaching.
Habit nature
After we have done one audio review, we can work together on changing habits that get in the way of your best coaching. Often, there is one “invisible” limiting habit that provides a doorway to expand your range in coaching and generalizes to other domains of life.
Skill Drills
We practice certain ICF core competencies and reflect on the learning.
Coaching Presence
We build coaching presence in various ways, based on your current strengths and opportunities for capacity building.
I coach you or you coach me
We leave time to discuss the coaching and what you are learning. A very helpful in-the-moment experience!

Mentoring
for individuals & groups
According to the International Coaching Federation (ICF), Mentor Coaching is: “a credential applicant being coached on their coaching skills rather than coaching on practice building, life balance, or other topics unrelated to the development of an applicant’s coaching skill.”
Mentor Coaching ideally takes place over many months in a cycle that allows for the coach being mentored to learn something new, practice the learning and come back to build on the learning. It is an iterative process. For this reason, the ICF requires that mentoring for credentialing or renewal occur over a minimum period of 3 months.
Group Mentoring
Groups meet for 7 hours total, with a maximum of 10 coaches per group. You can purchase your 3 required individual mentoring hours with me or hire a different mentor coach.
Each group meeting will be a mix of content and rounds of coaching with a focus on affirming what you are doing well and offering a growth opportunity.
Next Start Date: TBD Drop me a note if you’d like to be on the list for the next group.
